The attack targeted a U.S. military base at the airport, without being able to hit it. The attack did not result in any casualties or material.

The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development states that the airport in Erbil has been subjected to repeated terrorist attacks this year, including attacks using drones loaded with explosives, stressing its categorical rejection of the continuation of terrorist acts aimed at undermining Iraq’s prestige and undermining security and stability throughout the country.

The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development reiterates its rejection of any terrorist acts targeting facilities and terrorizing citizens.
