Forum for Development and Human Rights Dialogue Becomes a Member of Ann Linda Foundation for Intercultural Dialogue

Today, Monday, June 20, 2022, the Forum for Development and Human Rights Dialogue (FDHRD) announced that it has joined the Egyptian National Network in the Anna Linda Foundation- EuroMed for Intercultural Dialogue.

Anna Linda was brought up by the decision of the Conference of Foreign Ministers of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership Countries, which was held in December 2003. Anna Linda’s aims at encouraging dialogue between cultures and contributing to a clearer vision of cooperation through intellectual and cultural exchange and communication between societies. It was co-founded by the European Union and the Mediterranean Partnership countries.

Through its researches and assessments, Anna Linda provides a local view of international policymakers, providing a unique understanding of conflict dynamics and political responses to countering extremism or the social impact of the refugee crisis.

Through the membership of the Egyptian Network in Anna Linda, the Forum for Development and Human Right Dialogue aspires to participate in the activities and proposals of cooperation at the national level, and to promote and exchange dialogue within the Euro-Mediterranean scale in the social, cultural and humanitarian fields, in accordance with Chapter Three of the Barcelona Declaration 1995.

The FDHRD’s membership in Anna Linda is the fourth at the level of international and regional partnerships in a year. The Forum for Development and Human Rights Dialogue seeks to expand international partnerships to transfer expertise and implement projects to raise capacities in sustainable development and human rights activities in Egypt.
