Today, Sunday, March 6th, the ECHRD issued a report entitled “Right-Wing Jewish Extremism”: The Continuous Suffering of the Owners of the Land and the Occupation,” to review the suffering of the Palestinian people and the violations they have been subjected to by the settlers of the Jewish occupation since 1948.

The report dealt with the terrorism to which the Palestinians are exposed by the occupation forces and settlers,
Where there was Jewish terrorism in Israel from Jewish gangs and it was directed at internal Israeli-Jewish targets and against the Arab and Palestinian population.
Then the phenomenon of “price tag” attacks began in 2008, hate crimes committed by extremist settlers, which usually involve the destruction of property or graffiti, particularly targeting properties associated with Arabs, Christians, secular Israelis and Israeli soldiers.

Jewish terrorism was directed not only against the Palestinians, but also against the Israeli forces, as the Israeli Security Agency complained that the Israeli government is too lenient in dealing with the religious extremism of Jewish extremists who want to create a Jewish land based on Jewish law and the right-wing governments tolerate it.

The report also mentioned that the year 2021 witnessed a significant increase in the rates of violence and terrorism from settlers. 410 attacks by settlers against Palestinians were recorded, an increase from the year 2020, in which 385 attacks were recorded, and from the year 2019 in which 335 attacks were recorded.

In conclusion, the report pointed to the need to stop the forced displacement operations to house Jewish terrorists, as well as condemning the demolition of homes in East Jerusalem and the need for the international humanitarian community to recognize the terrorism practiced by Israel through the imposition of settlements and settlers on Palestinian property, and to investigate all crimes that caused losses to the Palestinian people.
