The Egyptian Alliance for Development and Human Rights calls the UN to continue investigation in Qatari fund to Al Houthi Group in Yemen
The Egyptian Alliance for Development and Human Rights has called the UN concerned bodies to continue their investigation in regard to Qatar support to terroristic Yemeni Houthi militias. EADHR has pointed out that the American Department of Justice has announced on early January that there was information assured the existence of members of the ruling family of “Al Thany” in Doha among those who involved in supporting the supporter group of Iran with the components of drones which continuously shell Saudi sites. In addition, Doha supports the Lebanese Hazb Allah with money and weapon through wide intelligence cooperation between Qatari and Iranian intelligences.
On 23rd December 2020, the United National held the first hearing sessions for the American team in the context of investigating Qatari fund for Al Houthi with the components of drones when the international team listened to the team of American intelligence about Qatar involvement in providing Al Houthi with drones’ components in addition to documented information about transferring money and gold shipments which fund the purchasing of drones for Al Houthi.
According to the provided information, Qatar has funded the project of drones which were provided by Iran to Al Houthi groups with the name of martyr 129 which is the same copy of the American drone (Predator) which are the same drones used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and armed with sliding bombs.
The Egyptian Alliance for Development and Human Rights has warned against the continuous international silence in regard to Qatar support for terroristic groups and neglecting the UN Anti-Terrorism Strategy since Qatar has persevered to provide funds and safe shelters to the members of terroristic groups in a number of Arab countries and their dangerous impact on countries which witnessed civil conflicts such as Yemen in addition to practicing dangerous policy threatens the system of human rights and the condition of security and peace I the Gulf Region.
