15 youths drowned from one village on the Libyan coast on board an illegal immigration boat

On Saturday, August 27, the Libyan authorities found a submerged illegal immigration boat on its coast east of Tolmitha, with 15 young Egyptians on board, belonging to the village of Houd al-Tawil, affiliated to the center and city of Minya al-Qamh in Sharkia Governorate.
The Libyan authorities confirmed that the sinking boat, carrying 27 people, had sailed from the Egyptian coast three days ago, adding that the Coast Guard rescued 3 of them, while two people died and the search is still underway for 19 others.
It also announced the names of the six survivors, who are (Ahmed Hussein Muhammad – Mahmoud Ayad Muhammad – Mahmoud Khairy).
