Shaden Mohamed

1 min read

On April 15, 2017, a German national named Killian S., 20, ran over 22-year-old Egyptian girl Shaden Mohamed al-Gohary, a 22-year-old student at a German university’s faculty of architecture, at a tram stop in the eastern German city of Kutbus and then racially insulted her as she fell to the ground with her blood spilling, saying “dirty refugees.” You obviously don’t have streets, but in Germany you have to look at the street. “Go home, nothing will shock you there.”

Shaden died three days after the accident after doctors failed to stop the bleeding she suffered as a result of the collision.

The court charged the accused with “negligent homicide” as he was driving faster than the speed limit in the area of the accident and was given a one-year suspended prison sentence, and the convict appealed the sentence.
