Forum for Development and Human Rights Dialogue (FDHRD) condemns the hatred speech given by the Front of Al Azhar’s scientists as they did unreasonable attack against the human rights activists
On 3rd May 2009, the Front of Al Azhar’s Scientists issued a press release entitled “Pigs are killing hearts” which was about the issue of the Swine Flue.
This press release ignored the practical, medical and environmental rules and it launched an attack which was an inciting speech that should not have been issued by religious people. This press release said that human rights activists are aggressor who are worst than Pharaoh and they are the reason for the crisis in Egypt. It stated that the activists violated the holly things and they did obscene crimes as they violated religions, bloods and morals.
In this regard, FDHRD condemns this press release because when the scientists of Al Azhar which stated that human rights activists are aggressors and they are worst than Pharaoh and they are the cause of crisis in this works. FDHRD believes that such statements which are against the activists are considered invitations to kill the activists of legal movements in Egypt.
Therefore, FDHRD is condemning this press release and it calls the civil and legal association in Egypt to confront such claims which calls for new inspections courts that used to exist in the old times.
Finally, it must be noted that the front of Al Azhar scientists is an NGO which is registered under no. 565 of 1967.
