Fourth Training for ECHRD Observers in Luxor to Monitor Senate Elections 2020

The city of Luxor witnessed the fourth training session of the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development on the Observation of Senate elections 2020 done in cooperation with the Ana Al-Masri for Development Association in Luxor, observers representing 25 civil associations in Luxor participated in the training was carried out by the human rights expert and electoral systems consultant Abdel Nasser Qandil and included training in the definition of the Senate and its powers and the constitutional and legal framework organized for it. The training included the introduction of participants to the rights and duties of the observer and monitoring mechanisms and the preparation of reports related to the results of
observing. Egypt’s Human Rights and Development plans to organize about 15 trainings in the governorates of Greater Cairo, Delta, North and South Upper Egypt to ensure professional observation consistent with the mechanisms of monitoring in international human rights conventions
