The Egyptian Alliance for Human Rights and Development today Tuesday, April 6, 2021, condemned the entry of a new Shipment of Iranian Weapons to Iranian Militias into the Syrian Territory

The Egyptian Alliance for Human Rights and Development confirmed the arrival of Iranian weapons in the warehouses of the Fatimid militia, which includes short- and medium-range missiles, which have entered Syrian territory in the areas of “Deir ez-Zur and Raqqa countryside” coming from Iraq.

The Egyptian Alliance for Human Rights and Development warns of a new terrorist disaster in Syria and the continued deterioration of the situation as Iran continues its policy of arming militias loyal to it.

Some 395 Syrian tribesmen were recruited in exchange for material inducements and transferred to camps south of the northern Syrian city of Qamishli to receive training supervised by Iranian elements.

The number of Iranian-backed militias has reached about 100,000 fighters, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps carry out the tasks of financing, arming and directing these militias

The Egyptian Alliance for Development and Human Rights called on the United Nations to intervene quickly to combat the presence of terrorist organizations in Syria and to strengthen security and protection for the brotherly Syrian people.
