The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development (ECHRD) holds its fourth meeting on the economic empowerment of the neediest groups (women – those with disabilities) in Gharbia Governorate in cooperation with Arab Hands Association for Community Development in Gharbia, at the headquarters of the Regional Federation of NGOs in Tanta. It was attended by 40 participants representing NGOs operating within the scope of Gharbia Governorate.

This was done within the framework of the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development initiative, which aims to work with associations and NGOs in nine Egyptian governorates.
The meeting began with Ms. Majda Al-Khawaja speech, Chairman Director of the Arab Hands Association for Community Development. She talked about cooperation with the ECHRD and the participating associations to achieve the goals of the initiative, which is to form a network of associations in the targeted governorates to build the capacities of associations in various fields.
Mr. Ashraf Diab, representative of the ECHRD also talked about goals of the initiative and the mechanisms of action to achieve those goals, in accordance within the activities of the ECHRD initiative, which aims to work with associations and NGOs in nine governorates nationwide.
