The Forum for Development and Human Rights Dialogue expresses its condemnation of the terrorist attack claimed by ISIS yesterday 11-1-2023 in front of Afghan Foreign Ministry building in the capital, Kabul, which resulted in the death of civilians and the injury of at least 20.
The suicide attack took place just as employees were leaving the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Afghan capital. The suicide bomber tried to enter the building, but the Ministry’s security managed to stop him, so he blew himself up on the spot.
Afghanistan witnesses many bombings from time to time since the Taliban took control of the government, which claimed the lives of many innocent people. ISIS claimed responsibility for many of these bombings.
The FDHRD extends its sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, affirming the rejection of those terrorist operations that target civilians and violate one of the most noble rights enshrined in international conventions and covenants: the right to life, which is considered an equal basis for all human beings and a prerequisite for the enjoyment of all other rights.
The FDHRD also calls for the international community to unite in order to limit these terrorist organizations, and develop international means of protection for people who are exposed to these attacks.
