The Egyptian Alliance for Human Rights and Development today condemned the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and inside the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, killing 20 Palestinians, including 9 young children, in addition to injuring more than 200 Palestinians, the Alliance states that the Israeli aggression began since last week, following attempts by the Zionist entity to rob the homes of Palestinians living in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, forcibly displace its residents, and disperse peaceful demonstrations by force of arms., and assaulting them.

The Egyptian Alliance for Human Rights and Development asserts that the Israeli aggression against peaceful demonstrators in Jerusalem, and against civilian targets in the Gaza Strip using live bullets, rubber bombs and tear gas, is a full-fledged war crime under the principles of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions I and IV of 1949.

The Egyptian Alliance for Human Rights and Development expresses its solidarity and full support with the Palestinian people in defending their legitimate rights against the brutal Israeli aggression, and the Alliance demands the Security Council, the international community and international organizations to support the Palestinian people and stop the Israeli escalation, which poses a major threat to security and peace in the Arab region. .
