……………………………………………………..

The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development expresses its sincere condolences for the martyrdom of three Egyptian monks at two monasteries of St. Mark the Apostle and St. Anba Samuel, in Johannesburg as a result of a criminal attack in South Africa, stressing that this despicable act contradicts all international norms and conventions on human rights, as well as all monotheistic religions.

It is worth noting that the “Coptic Orthodox” Church announced on Tuesday 13/3/2024 that (3) “monks” were subjected to a criminal attack in the Coptic monastery of St. Mark the Apostle and St. Anba Samuel, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The incident resulted in the martyrdom of three monks: Takla Samueli, the vicar of the Diocese of South Africa, Justus Ava Marcus, and Mina Ava Marcus.

In this regard, the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development affirms that such despicable criminal acts represent a flagrant violation of the sanctity of places of worship and the “universal human values of coexistence, tolerance and brotherhood.”
