The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development condemns the terrorist bombing targeting a popular market in the Somali Capital “Mogadishu”, calling for the Confrontation of such extremist terrorist groups.
On Tuesday, 6/2/2024, an explosion took place in one of the popular markets in Mogadishu, in 4 separate locations in the middle of the market, which killed about (10) people and injured (15) people.
In this context, the Egyptian Coalition calls on the International Community to combat the extremist Ideologies that fuel the violence practiced by terrorist groups, prevent these brutal acts, stop funding and financing terrorist networks, and confront their movements and activities, in order to prevent Human Rights Violations.
The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights calls for supporting the Somali Leadership in its fight against terrorism and extremism in order to establish and consolidate stability and security.
