The ECHRD Condemns the Israeli Occupation Forces’ Attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Celebration of the Al-Isra and Al-Miraj Anniversary

Today, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the ECHRD condemned the recent attacks of the Israeli occupation in the Bab Al-Amoud neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem. The occupation forces carried out brutal attacks on Palestinian citizens during the celebration of the memorial of Isra and Mi’raj in Bab Al-Amoud neighborhood in East Jerusalem.

Violent clashes between the occupation forces and Palestinian citizens resulted in the fall of many victims and the arrest of others. The occupation forces have targeted children in particular, as many children have been victims as a result of the excessive use of sound explosives. In this context, two girls were dragged by the occupation soldiers, one of them with special needs and needs surgical intervention.

The ECHRD affirms its solidarity with the Palestinian people and its condemnation of such practices, which represent grave violations of religious freedom in occupied Jerusalem.

The ECHRD holds the occupation responsible for the massive violations of human rights in all the Palestinian territories.
