In the 21st century, human rights violations taking place in Jerusalem remain still. These violations have been practiced for more than 70 years. Since the declaration of the Zionist movement to establish the state of “Israel” in 1948, Jerusalem has witnessed many attacks and violations that included use of violence against civilians, increase of the barbaric arrest’ campaigns, establishment of Jewish settlements on Palestinian territories with an increase in forced displacement and reduction of the size of Palestinian lands.
