On January 28, 2018, three Americans, two men and a woman, one of them named Dwayne Stephen Comok, 18, severely beat egyptian youth Andrew Samir Muhanna, a 28-year-old pharmacist, in front of his home in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA, and shot him from behind in the lower neck area at the top of his back.
Police arrested the three suspects and charged them with first and second-degree murder, and US police indicated that the killing was the result of an attempted armed robbery.
Andrew had travelled to America since 2013 to study and get a residency there, then joined an institutional pharmacy called Right Aid in Maryland.
