For the second day in a row, the National Coalition for Human Rights and Development continues its meetings on building the capacities of NGOs in Qena Governorate

The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development held its second meeting on building the capacities of NGOs in Qena Governorate, in cooperation with the Horus Association for Youth and Development in Qena, in the presence of representatives of 40 NGOs and institutions in the governorate.
This came within the framework of the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development initiative, which aims to work with associations and NGOs in 9 Egyptian governorates. It was held at the headquarters of Horus Association in Qena governorate.
The meeting was opened by Mr. Ahmed Hegaza, Chairman of the Horus Association for Youth and Development in Qena, where he presented the topic of today’s seminar entitled ‘Entrepreneurship – Success Stories’
The seminar was moderated by Abeer Al-Najjar – Coordinator of the National Youth Council – Secretary of Women in the ‘Future of the Nation’ Party – where she talked about the concept of entrepreneurship, forms of entrepreneurship, as well as types of entrepreneurs, and explained the difference between entrepreneurship and business management.
Warda Muhammad Muhammad – Director General of Food Security Projects in the General Court of the governorate spoke about how to implement the entrepreneurship process in NGOs and how to contract companies with different companies. She mentioned several success stories and honorable models within the governorate, including food security projects in Qena Governorate, which were opened recently.
The seminar was attended by Mr. Ashraf Abu Al-Fadl, a member of the Egyptian Parliament representing the Qus, Qift and Naqada districts. He praised the initiative of the ECHRD and also praised the activities of the Horus Association for Youth and Development in Qena. He also stressed the need for civil societies to play their role as they represent the soft forces to stand with the Egyptian state against malicious attacks and ideologies that only aims at the downfall of the Egyptian state, and this will not happen. This is thanks to Allah first, and then the pursuit of the political leadership that is doing its utmost for the sake of our beloved country, Egypt. The seminar also witnessed the distribution of certificates of attendance for the seminar that took place yesterday among the attendees.
The seminar was covered by a number of media outlets, including South Upper Egypt Radio, Al-Masaa newspapers, Sada Al-Ummah, Al-Ahram, and Al-Osboa.
At the end, Mr. Ahmed Hegaza concluded the seminar and thanked the lecturers. He also thanked all the attendees, promising to hold another meeting, dealing with another issue of building the capacities of NGOs, which is adopted by the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development.
