Forum of Development and Human Rights Dialogue (FDHRD) demanded, today Saturday, the Egyptian government to launch a hotline to help stuffs of the medical sector from any violations on medical groups and facilitate their movements during prohibition times, and to support them during the period of dealing with Covid-19. FDHRD also demanded to launch another hotline to provide young doctors and medical teams in all governorates and villages with technical service to support them in dealing with medical stresses and extreme nervousness as they are highly need that during this critical period.

FDHRD published the last month its second report about the state of health in Egypt for the year 2019. In the report, FDHRD demanded the necessity of providing legal protection for doctors from assault or as a result of infection, and stablishing insurance for doctors against assault, warning that there is a severe shortage of doctors, as a result of the migration of large numbers abroad due to their low financial wages
