The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development calls for a speedy intervention to save the Egyptian citizen Omar Mahmoud Gad Al-Karim Omar and return him to his homeland.
In 1987, The Egyptian citizen Omar Mahmoud traveled to Iraq to work there. In 1991, during the invasion of Iraq, the popular resistance there tore up his papers. Since then, he has been residing in Iraq without identification papers. Due to his lack of education and his fear of being arrested in Iraq, he was unable to communicate with the Egyptian embassy there.
Therefore, the ECHRD called for a quick intervention for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate’s Affairs, who spare no effort in solving Egyptians problems abroad, returning the Egyptian citizen Omar Mahmoud Gad Al-Karim Omar.
