The Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development holds its first meeting on building the capacities of NGOs in Aswan Governorate, in cooperation with Maabad Foundation for Development in Aswan.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 34 NGOs and institutions in Aswan Governorate.
This was done within the framework of the Egyptian Coalition for Human Rights and Development initiative, which aims to work with associations and NGOs in 9 Egyptian governorates.

The meeting was opened by Ms. Zainab Abdeen, Executive Director of the Maabad Foundation for Development in Aswan.
The coordinator of the ECHRD, Abeer Mohamed explained the objectives of the initiative, which is represented in cooperation between NGOs to form a network of associations in the targeted governorates to build the capacities of associations in various fields.
Dr. Hamdiya Bashir, a consultant and human development expert, emphasized the SWOT analysis to build strong associations and institutions and how to manage properly. What are the basics that institutions and associations must know to achieve their goals? She talked about administrative diversity, the presence of women members within the board of directors, and the importance of industry and innovation.
The attendees discussed the problems facing them and exchanged the proposed solutions. This was within the framework of building the capacities of civil associations and institutions.
